TRIGGERMAN written by playwright Ebru Nihan Celkan investigates the dynamics at the heart of recruitment to xenophobic violence—how young men are groomed, and how women are silenced. Led by director Handan Ozbilgin, the project seeks to follow the lead of Rakel Dink, widow to murdered Turkish journalist Hrant Dink: “Without questioning the darkness that created murderers from those babies, there’s nothing to do, my brothers and sisters.”
